Rhone River Guide
There's no better way to experience the South of France than on a Rhone River cruise, where you can discover French history, culture and the country's stunning scenery. You'll see architecture and works of art that are as famous as the wine and cuisine you'll taste throughout the region.
The Rhone river is one of the major rivers of Europe, originating in Switzerland and running aproximately 500 miles from there through the south-eastern corner of France. At Arles, near its mouth at the Mediterranean Sea, the river divides into two branches, known as the Great Rhone and the Little Rhone.
The Rhone is the only major European river flowing directly to the Mediterranean Sea.
