New Ships for 2017

Year on year, river cruising has certainly been growing in popularity & we predict that 2017 will be another great year! With new itineraries and new river cruise ships scheduled for 2017, it’s evident that river cruise lines are just as confident!

So, who’s releasing new ships?

Of course, it wouldn’t be a new year without a new ship from Viking River Cruises. Only this time, there are just two new vessels for Viking (as opposed to the 6 they introduced in just one day this year, or the 12 they launched in 2015)! Viking Herja and Viking Hild will join the existing fleet of longships, holding 190 passengers in 95 staterooms.
